Why do you need shop fitters' insurance cover?

Public liability insurance for shop fitters
Our shop fitters’ contractors’ insurance policy is aimed at meeting your requirements. Work and materials can be protected, and if you choose Classic or Plus cover, you can include personal accident insurance to provide an income if you can’t work due to an accident at work. We can also extend the policy to include a payment of £250 per day if you’re called up for jury service. Plus, you have the option to pay in monthly instalments on Direct Debit.

As a shop fitter you can choose your level of contractor’s public liability insurance to provide cover of £1 million, £2 million or £5 million. This cover is effective 24 hours a day, anywhere in the UK, and includes overnight thefts from your van following a violent and forcible break-in to your vehicle. If necessary, cover can be extended up to £15,000. You will also receive £100,000 worth of professional indemnity insurance.
