If you’ve arrived here, you’ve probably clicked through looking for Alcumus Insurance.

Until Thursday 5th December 2024, Trade Direct Services sold and administered a range of insurance products under the trading name Alcumus Insurance Services. As of that date we no longer sell new Alcumus Insurance Services policies, however we do still administer existing Alcumus Insurance Services policies under Trade Direct Insurance.

If you’re an existing customer, there’s no need to worry. Your policy will continue as though nothing has changed, and you’re still backed by the same insurer, product and long-standing broker.

Q. Who are Trade Direct Insurance?

A. We are a trade insurance specialist. We provide insurance for tradesmen and construction workers, and are proud to have been the insurance provider of choice for many thousands of tradespeople during the last 40 years. Read more about us.

Q. I have an Alcumus Insurance policy, and I need to make a change. What should I do?

A. Just give us a ring on 0800 0280 380 and one of our team will update your policy for you. We’ll issue updated documents and take care of any additional payment or refund.

Q. I have an Alcumus Insurance policy, and I need to make a claim. What should I do?

A. Firstly, don’t worry! The cover you have remains unchanged. Claims are handled by the insurer behind your policy, but feel free to give us a ring on 0800 0280 380, and our helpful team will assist in directing your claim.

Q. I have an Alcumus Insurance policy, and my renewal is due. What should I do?

A. We will be issuing your renewal invite in good time before your cover expires. Your renewal invite will now come through to you on Trade Direct Insurance headed paper, though your cover, policy number and your insurer will remain unchanged. We are writing to all of our existing policy holders advising of the changes. Hopefully you’ve received something but if not any questions you have can be answered by our team on 0800 0280 380 or enquiries@tradedirectinsurance.co.uk.

Q. I’d like to buy an Alcumus Insurance policy. What should I do?

A. As Trade Direct Insurance we can provide online quotes for Public Liability Insurance, Van Insurance or 24hr Tools Insurance. Unfortunately we can’t offer you an Alcumus Insurance branded product though. If you need that, you’re best-off contacting Alcumus directly to see what they can offer.
